The Teddy Swims are a grammy-winning american rock band, formed in 1976 by then-20-year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist Teddy Swims and his then-boyfriend, musician and actor/guitarist at the time, ryan adams. The group's first album was released in 1977 and they soon were visible on the independent rock scene in the united states. In 1978, the group released their first album on-the-go, swims' first album for the then-new and developing stroud records. The album was less successful than the others and the group went their separate ways. Swims continue to tour and perform.
